Condition grades are determined based on the overall condition of the card, including scratches, edge wear, surface wear, dents, creases, warping, stains, manufacturing defects, and other visible characteristics.
We do not list the location, number, or exact shape of every individual flaw. Cards within the same condition grade may therefore vary in their specific appearance.
Unless otherwise stated, raw single cards without a condition label are sold as Condition A.
For international customers, we also display the approximate corresponding terms NM / LP / MP / HP / DMG for reference. Condition standards vary between retailers, marketplaces, and grading companies, and we do not guarantee that our condition grades will match the standards or grading results used by any third party.

Overall, the card is in good condition for a pre-owned trading card.
The card may have no noticeable damage, or it may show very minor imperfections that can occur during manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or normal handling.

Condition A does not mean that the card is completely flawless, nor does it guarantee the highest possible grade from a third-party grading company.
If you are looking for a virtually flawless card or purchasing specifically with the expectation of receiving a high third-party grading result, please take this into consideration before placing your order.

Whether a card is legal for use in a tournament or other organized event may be determined by the event organizer or judge.
The card has severe damage, alteration, or deterioration and may not be suitable for gameplay.

Even when used in an opaque sleeve, a card in this condition may not be permitted for tournament or organized play. Please check with the applicable event organizer or judge regarding eligibility for play.
A condition grade is not determined automatically based on the presence of any single type of flaw.
We assess the type, severity, size, location, and number of defects, together with the overall condition of the card.
As a result, a card that has one of the characteristics listed above may receive a different grade based on the overall condition of the card.
Unless a listing specifically states that an image shows the actual item for sale, product images are reference images used to identify the card.
The wear, flaws, or condition visible on a reference image do not represent the exact condition of the individual card you will receive.
For raw single cards, the condition grade displayed when you place your order — rather than the reference image — is the applicable sales condition regarding the card's physical condition.
Our A–E condition scale does not apply to cards graded by PSA or another third-party grading company.
Graded cards are sold based on the grading company, assigned grade, certification number, and other information displayed on the applicable product page.
Third-party grades are based on the grading company's own standards. Nexus Trading Cards does not guarantee the accuracy of a third-party grade or the result the card may receive if it is submitted for grading again.
We do not accept returns or exchanges solely because scratches, edge whitening, surface wear, dents, stains, manufacturing defects, or other imperfections that fall within the condition grade displayed at the time of purchase were not individually described in the product listing.
We also do not accept returns or exchanges solely because your assessment of the card's condition, or the assessment of another retailer or grading company, differs from ours.
However, if the actual condition of the card you receive does not conform to the Nexus Trading Cards condition grade displayed when you placed your order, we will respond in accordance with our return and refund terms and applicable law.
